PETER LODS FOLLOWING HIS DREAM

I often wonder why people do what they do, what makes them dedicated to their art, whether it be writing prose, poetry, or songs. What stirs them to follow their dreams?

I was in touch with Peter Lods, a Frenchman who was born in a Christian home and had heard about the teaching of Jesus from an early age. He says, "I used to always sing! When I was eleven-years-old I was in church a lot. I was baptized in the water at sixteen. Then in 1997, a group of gospel singers from California visited France and when I saw them, I knew I would join them. I traveled with them for four years as a missionary and during that time, the Lord really worked in my heart. I was singing every night and sharing my testimony. The Lord did great things in the lives of people as we sang and shared our testimonies!

"I'm just so amazed by what God has done for the world and for me! I'm still singing with a group of gospel singers called the Paris Gospel Choir led by Mr. Georges Seba who's from Africa - my turning point was when I met him. Leader of the 'Cherubim of Sarcelles' choir for years, Georges Seba is recognized by renowned artists such as Yannick Noah, Paul Simon, Celine Dion and many others who asked him to collaborate as a singer and songwriter."

From the biography of Peter Lods - "Detecting his beautiful arrangements, Georges Seba invites Peter to join his choir 'Gospel Choir of Paris' as a vocalist."

Peter told me, "What the Lord does through George Seba and the group is amazing - now I sing all over the world. God is faithful and his promises are yes and amen!"

I especially love listening to Peter singing "Via Dolorosa." Not only do I enjoy his music, I found it's a good way to brush up on my rusty French - God still answers the dreams of little girls and boys!
